Well, yeah, but weren't we talking about production cut and how best to stop the bleeding? My point was that cutting production at this time is no better than applying a band-aid to the slit wrist. It ain't gonna help, just as the cut from OPEC+ hasn't done much, if anything.

Too late IMO. They're just gonna roll over the trouble to June contract, which will fall down into the 10 level soon. There's no quick fix for this until they reopen the economy and people start driving and flying.

Dude, you're forgetting one thing. We're awash with glut of oil that are ALREADY in the storage. Unless we first dump all those oils in the storage, cutting production will not help. Maybe they should have done that a month ago?

Thinking back on this some more... Suppose I went long at -35 and decide to take delivery. How would this show up on the books? Will I be credited rather than debited?
