Cryptocurrency market cap surpasses one trillion dollars

why? BTC just a computer code and it is being manipulated with tethers that are created out of thin air. You might not agree, but it is sad if this is indeed the stupidest comment you ever read.

A German programmer has 2 chances to guess his IronKey password or he’ll lose $280m in Bitcoin

I have similar thoughts. If it is all legit, why not allow people sell their bitcoins in "open market", and once transaction goes through, wire/ach millions back to owner bank account. If someone sell 1mil worth of cryptos, it looks like it will take anywhere between 50-100 business days to...

A German programmer has 2 chances to guess his IronKey password or he’ll lose $280m in Bitcoin

This is what I am suspecting. So it is kinda mirage. I can withdraw full amount from any broker that trades real thing (stocks, gold, oil, currencies, softs and etc), but crypto does not allow it, simply weird.

A German programmer has 2 chances to guess his IronKey password or he’ll lose $280m in Bitcoin

coinbase puts limit on any transfers as I understand. I think daily max is 10 or 20k. Let’s say this guy unlocks it. It would take him forever to withdraw the cash. Is it like that everywhere in crypto world.

It is not the market that uses Tethers, it is evil geniuses at BitFinex who use it for manipulation.

The world's most used crypto, Tether explained

AbbotAle, what you say sounds great. That being said, BitFinex refused to be audited and fired all of its auditors. Frauds can run for a long time. Mad off is a good example. The fact is no one has any assurance, as of right now, that Tether is backed by anything. if it looks like a duck...

When oil was at $150 T Boon Pickens said, we will never see oil below $100 in our live times, and that is oil, the real thing. BTC is being manipulated up to wazoo with Tethers. We will see it under 10K and less. BitFinex is due to present evidence to NY AG by Jan 15th. Will be very...
