Regarding ES trading with stops..... does anyone employ a day stop ? i.e. $20,000 account, quit for the day when down -$400 ??? For 2 contracts, that would be only 4 points.

Just received an Evoluent 4 wired mouse. First, it LOOKS real cool. Secondly, it feels very comfortable. However, a word of advice: do not start chart trading with it until you have at least a day or two of active use. It does take some time to get used to.

They're likely replacing the crumby data feed from Interactive with yours and simply doing the trades thru the IB API.

That's not dramatic....now if you were talking a 10% fall, that would be significant.

IB is likely using cheap foreign programmers for their coding work. Bottomline: you get what you pay for. It's taken them FOREVER to stabilize their API.

Why don't you try Multicharts with IQFeed streaming data ? It interfaces with IB pretty well.

It held......but this is a treacherous market.

S&P is already down 9% from recent highs. Another 8% is hard to fathom in this economic back-drop. Where's the crisis ?
