MarkBrown, Question for you as you been trading for years. 1. Is price action trader on chart reader? Or can a price action trader use indicators as well? I could be wrong, but I thought price action traders was against using indicators as indicators are lagging behind price a bit. 2. Have...

Nice looking charts humbletrader2016, I am not sure if this is the small timeframe chart or not, but I am curious why you not take this trade here? Double Top, nice bear bars, and your indicators was pointing downwards and seem to signal change in trend.

Yes, crude oil was choppy at first. I decided to just wait for this break down, and then enter with trend, even though lower highs was showing most of the day. I lost 400 earlier trying to go long breakout

I agree Mark. I am just waiting on 51.69 to break down to so I can join the trend and get short. Im staying out of the grey areas. I am starting to see S/R are not lines but zones for intraday trading

slvrrisc, Thanks slvrrisc for the response. Yes, drawing the S/R throughout the day does become cluster quickly and sometimes does not make decision making easy at times. When I wake in the morning, the only S/R I have on my chart is pivots and OHLC lines. Like figure one below. But here I...

MarkBrown, Thanks. Let's see if I follow. I added 200 ema and RSI on my 3 minute chart. After session open price falls below 200 ema and trends down. The blue arrow shows double top at my resistance area, RSI value high > 50, and price action rejection here. Enter short for about $300...

Yes, I think if I can filter out some noise or reduce my trade amount during the day, I like price action trading but sometimes play alot of the back and forward game. At a minimum the least I can do is get the trend right, and then trade. I am just thinking outloud here for things to try and...

MarkBrown, I only want to take trade my breakouts of support and resistance (or reversals) when trend is in my favor. What is a good trend indicator? What do you have I can back test with? I am thinking if emas. if 10 ema > 20 ema > 100 ema, trend up. ONLY take longs breakouts. vice versa...

Yes, we trade a bit different. One thing I can agree with you on, it takes alot of hard work and consistent hard work. One thing I notice about the way I trade is 1. patience 2. energy consistency level. AND you never know when the win setup will come, even though the X prior setups was losses.

Thanks humbletrader2016, Yes, please focus on trading two accounts so do not make any mistakes. And I know you trade for 15 hours per day, that is good because you just never know when the money will come your way. I work full time job, so I am only limited to the mornings for about 2 hours...

Hello MarkBrown, I think I am overcrowded my chart, makes it hard for decision making. I use support and resistance I draw on the 1 hour chart, yesterday previous OHLC, and daily pivots. I also draw support and resistance daily in the morning before trading and throughout the day.
