Maybe new highs for the week if we break higher here, i.e., 4420. NQ not playing with yet, so that's a concern. Looking for 4380 if we break lower, but leaning long for now.

That was a swift reversal off yesterday's Close. Seems like a typical post-news market with large wicks up and down. Outside Day still possible if momentum picks up to the downside and NQ follows with. I have no bias. Just trying to hop on the right direction when we move out of this zone.

ES reversed off mid-range. Trying a long here if we break above 4405 or so on this second thrust. Targeting new highs, i.e., 4415.

On the other hand it's tough to stay short or play the short side when NQ is so strong. Which is why I don't like playing right now. The best plays seems to be when the indices are moving somewhat in sync. I've gotten better at staying out when things ain't clear. NQ breaking out to new...

NQ holding up this so far. I think we may have the HOD today - barring a strong reversal from here. Short bias intraday for now.

I don't necessarily disagree with that medium term. I was just thinking we'd print 4370 today, intraday. A bit wobbly here after the FOMC minutes. My hunch (since my data is mixed today) is that we won't see any big moves today regardless. Probably have to wait for tomorrow for that.

ES stopped in it's tracks on NQ gap fill, but I'm not convinced we're done below. 4270 looks juicy from here.

Scratched that quickly for a 2 tick loss. Undecided, but I think we'll see a 10 point move out of this range either up or down. Looking to re-enter at some point, but this might be a tricky day to play. Yesterday was the easy one... :)

FBO / DB on both ES/NQ. Let's see if that caps the downside. NQ pretty much filled yesterday's gap. I'm a late long from 86.50 and will take a small stop on it. Looking to add if we get any more upside momentum. Not greedy today. Maybe 4395. Hold if momentum picks up.

Inside Day so far. No strong edge either way from my POV. 4370 might be a magnet, though. Seems like the most likely course.
