    Snuskpelle's CFD Adventures 2020

Closed (XAU+XAG)/XCU for now, -28 realized in total as I don't want to risk any major cash from here by getting deeper into red (it's why it was scaling in slowly after all). Gold's failure to keep 1600 and 1550 after nudging it is somewhat troublesome.

Money made the Warren Buffett way

It's not necessarily obvious to the people writing these types of articles.

Stopped and closed rest, -600 I would have been better of being more patient on first entry to hit low of premarket. Price movement now too erratic to bother with, rechecking at US open

Not super NFP but unsure whether this will be interpreted as bullish or bearish. Felt like making contrarian short at high after release but basically no clear trend yet so waiting.

    Markets are impossible to predict

The problem is when shit happens, 3x leveraged S&P still is at 3x leverage regardless where you entered it. Profits now vaporize fast. Whereas futures/stocks you originally bought at some point back when things were far cheaper effectively make your account less leveraged as they go up in...

    Markets are impossible to predict

Moral of the story: Don't use leveraged ETFs unless you have meticulously researched what you're doing. They're far harder to use than just buying some futures on margin or whatever.

    Snuskpelle's CFD Adventures 2020

Some post fact analysis after events this day: I was quick to get my bias right after the attacks started, I retained the bias in face of mounting evidence of the opposite (as well as market changing its direction). This is a problem I always have and need to improve on. While blaming lack of...

What were your expectations when you started trading?

Completely overblown expectations like nearly everyone else. In general I don't care much for arguments like "everyone else smart is in the game already => you have no chance" and thus I jumped in, because competing is fun. Turned out it was absolutely true that this game is fiercely competitive...

Closed BCOUSD -207 Finally I should be able to sleep. ;-) Might well be LOD but it's clear market was smarter than me this morning. At this point I should just keep the big $$$ from the night without burning more of it.

Closed NAS100USD short near -400 I will stay the F away from trading more tired right now. This comes closest to "trading because I can" so far into 2020.

    Snuskpelle's CFD Adventures 2020

And this is why I shouldn't trade tired. Looking away for a minute and more than half of stop room is eaten. The force of the BTFD monkies is strong.

Amazed by recovery in NQ btw, this is some rally shit. Sell NAS100USD x -16 @ 8794 stop 8834 Hoping for some early Euro session depression pulling NQ down a bit. Special times so feeling a short is appropriate.
