About to blow up my account...help?

Without specifics as to [instrument, strike, expiry], no one can address your positions in any detail. In the past, I have bought-back an ITM spread, and split/rolled it, e.g., with IWM at $150-ish, buying an ITM put spread at $155, and splitting it to $145 puts and $155 calls in the same expiry...

It's time to short the market.

Time for that Market_On_Close order, then? Sheeesh, Scat.

Which indicators measure how parabolic something is pretty well?

A little caution: Algebra will translate any dual (two points [x,y]) to any graph. But a chart relationship (as per, "90°") will be destroyed as soon as the context [x or y!] changes in the least. Careful!

It's time to short the market.

Okay, I'll try again. :( A commercial product? Whose? Cost? Homebrew? What broker connection, if any? API? What language/version? If you wrote it yourself, how long did it take you? Are you selling it? Terms? Whether commercial or homebrew, if you were to recreate the system right now, what...

Do you need to understand where the edge comes from?

You belabor the obvious: Universal to science (and one might say, to *reason*), models are, each and every one, simplifications of reality. You seek to criticize it for being/doing exactly what was intended. That's laughable. Do you realize that it's 2018? And we still can't define "gravity"...

Which indicators measure how parabolic something is pretty well?

You're doing the Yogi Berra restaurant thing, but with small caps?? "Nobody goes there anymore -- they're too popular." So, if a smallcap pops up biggly-huge, you want an exit triggered (or a trailing-stop tightened)??

Do you need to understand where the edge comes from?

I certainly salute your respect of civility; I only point out that the gears of your science are missing some teeth.

Do you need to understand where the edge comes from?

Patently absurd. Childish in its black/white account - scary implications. (Alright, so, "not your best post," panzerman, but you can only respond in haiku. )

    Please, advise a reliable broker

Okay, just to get real for a second: 1) As you're from Latvia, that's a security-of-operations question for which I have no answers. The place I would go is, http://www.fktk.lv/en/ I would inquire as to whether and to how much, are trading/investment accounts insured? By what company/regulatory...

I would liquidate everything, immediately, until I had a clue. (Or, I would expect to go broke.)

Which indicators measure how parabolic something is pretty well?

The difference between J4 and J5 would be the "Acceleration Factor" in the Parabolic SAR -- this might save you some time and screen clutter: https://stockcharts.com/school/doku.php?id=chart_school:technical_indicators:parabolic_sar (...although, the tweaking and tuning and fiddling can...

Do you need to understand where the edge comes from?

This is basic glossary you don't understand. :( Think about why "leading indicator" is not a repetitive redundancy. :banghead: Look up the rest of the family: coincident indicator + lagging indicator. ;););) You'll thank me later. :D

It's time to short the market.

Fair enough, but the OP is a month-wide look back, with end-of-day data; the 'calls' themselves are multiday. So, little-to-no intra-day content intended. (And, it's just straight-up info: NO EGO! :wtf: Can you imagine?? I'm gonna keep an eye on this guy...;))

Curious as to what graphing/charting program that is.

Which indicators measure how parabolic something is pretty well?

The Parabolic SAR is quite flexible, and has 3 parameters to it. Have you understood and worked on each one? A price|time combination becomes a single point on a graph of time. An angle is a ratio, not a single point. If what you wish is a function which 'increases at an increasing rate'...

You realize that you just put all those guys with icebergs, and all those guys posing spoofs, on the floor with laughter, don't you, Mr. RobtheQuant, HFT, OBE, OMG?
