I show the ES hitting the upper downward sloping trendline in AH. I've seen them nudge it well over a resistance area in AH which nearly blows any stops in place or worse, prevents a decent entry. With the time of year (Christmas week), I am not sure of the obvious trade I see. The short...

can't answer gm, but stepped away as I was flat and came back to see my assumption (guess) of a short squeeze / stop run apparently came true. Sorry satch....it would have taken my stop....hopefully you fared better. I can see a gap down and a target of 30-35 as well. Just not sure how to...

I would set a limit buy or sell within .05-.10 of the bottom or top of the ascending or descending triangle. The tgt was 75% of the expected run with a stop at about .05 below (or above) the failure point (rising or descending trend line. Size based on a couple other factors and I would scale...
