Yes, I used to be one of them. Thankfully I have someone holding my hand keeping it in check and change how I approach the markets. Making predictions about where the market will end up at the end of the year just sets up a bias imo. I know what kind of effect a bias has on my trading...

If you can control your ego when you are wrong then what you say above is correct. Problem is most cannot. I would guess more then 50% with egos blow up.

News today is definitely not bearish but I am not smart enough to figure it out. Price will tell me where the market is going and i will trade accordingly to my plan. In any case, you are a good trader and I hope it works out for you.
