    RNVS - volatility

momoneythansens, your answer about the synthetic was what I was seeking - sorry it was worded poorly. Yes, I was aware the strikes were different, but the risk graphs were the most identical, unless I made a mistake - not unheard of  Robert56, thanks for the suggestion. I'll...

    RNVS - volatility

With RNVS currently trading around 14.75.. Using TOS for risk analysis for condors, comparing a condor built using calls vs puts: Nov call 12/15/17.5/20, the TOS midpoint is around .45 debit. Approx profit would be $200, vs a max loss of $45. It appears like a simular risk graph is...

    RNVS - volatility

If I assume the volatilty on RNVS will fall after 10/26, and I can't follow watch my trades all day (I'm not a full time trader), then would an appropriate trade to for this be to enter a butterfly?

    Trading Gaps with High Delta

I've recently been doing some trades with earnings or news gaps, seeking out strikes with .75 or higher delta. It appears that I'm getting the option without paying much for the theta, and gamma is about gone; looks like vega is low too. Anyone have any experience trading this approach?
