EU agrees to tame 'Wild West' with new crypto market rules

You are making the assumption that you can time the future of markets just like Pelosi. Unfortunately, the 99.9999% of us who can't front-run or insider-trade like politicians don't have this ability. In any case, I'm not suggesting an all-in bet on anything. It's asymmetrical. So you put 2-7%...

BlockFi CEO Responds To Rumors They Sold For $25 Million

I had heard a lot of complaints about his courses/teachings. One is that despite being overly bullish, he then did an immediate 180 bearish move. So... what was everyone else paying him for all that time? I'm not saying someone can't change their opinion over time but.... he certainly did raise...

EU agrees to tame 'Wild West' with new crypto market rules

Thanks Captain Obvious. Yes, companies are doing bust, blue chip companies are going bust. But what won't go bust are the too big too-big-to-fail types because our tax-payers money is going to make sure they stay afloat. We have a recession (possible depression 2.0) we are falling into, and the...

    What exactly is "quantitative easing"?

There is quite some truth to this. Some consider it just a huge failed experiment by Bernanke. Now we are stuck in a situation we can't ever get out of. Just like what happened in Japan years prior. But instead of paying attention to other nations' mistakes, the US likes to think 'We are...

BlockFi CEO Responds To Rumors They Sold For $25 Million

I never watched a single video from Kevin. Though maybe half of one once on a house he tried to renovate and re-sell. Mostly I can't stand some of his ridiculous facial expressions in his thumbnails. Why does he always look like some weirdo who's got that look where some fat Wall Street guy by...

    Facebook launches NFT feature

As a person who has worked with appraisers on collectibles, I can say with confidence that those purchasing NFTs in a plan to re-sell later on for huge profits are kidding themselves. Even with tangibles, we'd have to tell people every day their stuff they purchased as a collectible 40 years...

EU agrees to tame 'Wild West' with new crypto market rules

Thank you so much! Not too long ago I was told this when I was buying Enbridge, Pembina, Suncor, and all the other oil stocks because everyone sold them off at fire-sale prices insisting they were now junk and OIL would never rebound because the bubble popped and Cathy Wood said OIL will never...

EU agrees to tame 'Wild West' with new crypto market rules

The only ones crying are either paper-hands, or forced liquidations. Long-term investors don't crystalize losses and are happy to get a second chance of winding back the clock to take further advantage of. Some of my top class REITs have crashed down to initial covid-panic selling prices...

EU agrees to tame 'Wild West' with new crypto market rules

The only way to TAME it is to ban 20x leverage, etc. Which is already under-way. Unfortunately, this will take most the 'fun' out of crypto.

Interesting, apparently HotWheels NFTs is already a thing on the Wax Blockchain. https://wdny.io/hotwheels-s3/

They're sitting in MicroStrategy's company coffers right now.

BlockFi CEO Responds To Rumors They Sold For $25 Million

Kate Rooney of CNBC reported earlier today that FTX is buying BlockFi for the super low price of $25 million USD. According to Rooney, three sources familiar with the matter — who wished to remain unnamed — divulged the details of the deal...

Luxury watchmaker Breitling starts accepting Bitcoin for purchases

The Rolex Daytona has always been my favorite. That said, every business cycle goes into booms & busts. Even during those rare times when the FED isn't busy trying to fuck it up.

First BITCOIN Spot ETF to launch in Europe in July

I don't think there is anything that is blocking/preventing Americans from purchasing spot-ETFs from the Toronto exchange. Interactive Brokers for the win!

another crypto ponzi bites the big one. Down 99.999% for the stock

A lot of people get Voyager Digital mixed up with Galaxy Digital. I had been wondering if this is why Galaxy was selling off huge yesterday. My plan was to load up on Galaxy Digital before people realize the mistake. Unfortunately, TSX is closed for the day so trading is halted until Monday...

Michael Saylor’s MicroStrategy doubles down on Bitcoin-

Hopefully it does. As long as equities around the world continue to crash and burn, I think the chances of this may be good even if the Luna/Celseus/3-Arrows contagion is finally controlled.

FTX closes in on a deal to buy embattled crypto lender BlockFi for $25 million in a fire sale

Michael Saylor’s MicroStrategy doubles down on Bitcoin-

*Sigh... This has been debunked on this very forum many, many, many moons ago. Yet keeps being iterated by the perma-bears and a few others who can't be bothered to even do so much as basic research into something they want to squawk-box about. As a side-note: The majority of bears here...

    Facebook launches NFT feature

Facebook is rolling out an NFT feature on its platform to a select group of creators in the US. The move comes after a similar feature launched on Instagram last month. https://www.theblock.co/post/155340/facebook-launches-nft-feature-for-select-group-of-us-creators?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss

Transferred USDT to Coinbase and it's now lost!

For what it's worth, I remember a couple years ago or so, Binance put up a notice that it was working on a way to improve recovery of LOST coins due to user error in sending across different networks. Though I don't recall any estimated timeframe.
