I hedged to flat delta. I don’t alwaysbuedge overnight but if a stock is gapping I will. Liquidity sucks but I would rather pay 50 cents in bid offer than ride short delta for 3 dollars.

Let’s say you are actually trading 50k shares. In stocks that are liquid and low dollars I have never had this issue (when I trade 50-100k shares through my podunk PFOF happy broker). In illiquid stocks I have, but it’s 10 cents. But that cost is embedded into the risk premium.

payment for order flow isn’t that shady. It keeps costs down - it’s the only way Robin Hood can give you free trades. That or they sell all your private information to Russian marketing firms. you get the hard benefit of lower commissions and give up the soft benefit of “better execution.”
