I sort stocks the nite before that have just crossed a major average that day. I also sort stocks that qualify for NR4/ID and NR7/ID, and just InsideDay. During the day I look for stocks that have had a nice move up or down and have formed an macd divergence.

Fabulous advice! Especially about the order management software. And from JWK's office it is a fairly short drive to Chart House in Del Mar, or Hotel Del on Coronado. The tips are so good there you might think twice about trading! Just kidding a bit, but where his office is, it is all good.

Breakout you reminded me of a trade setup that I have used occasionally when I see it form both intraday and longer term. You and TD mentioned the double bottom thing. I have used the combination of macd divergence with a market structure low when the price is subjectively far below a 20 or...

That would be great and thanks a lot. As I use macd in almost every entry decision, your insight just might save me some bux on bad entries. I'm always looking for ways to decrease losses.

Hey that NR4/IB trade worked out well today so far. Certainly one has a decent intraday profit opportunity. I'm outside with the kids so I didn't take it. We are getting ready for vacation and vacation trading is a no-no for daddy. :)

A moderate P/E? Wow, it sure does tell a tale of today's marketplace when a 37 P/e is considered moderate. I guess relative to the triple digit PE's of 3-5 years ago sure. It is a good trading stock though, and I agree it makes taking size worthwhile.
