That TC2000 thing by Worden is pretty flexible. And the Advanced Analyzer at Ameritrade is a fee service too. That was formerly a free site called BigEasyInvestor but was purchased. Both of these have multiple canned and customizable scans. Good luck!

I am looking at the first 20 minutes of trading for APA and it certainly was pretty rough on the longs. I don't see anything around the 10:00 Eastern Time period that resembles what you describe. Either way, what a rip. That stock tanked 1.50 on some crappy trading.

I think that depends a lot on the desired holding time of the trade. Scalpers probably won't do as well with stocks that trade 500,000 shares daily, but praetorian2 routinely trades low volume stocks because he is not daytrading.
