    Ex post facto it is a bit cheesy to say 'I woulda...' so I won't. But as before, the trendline exit is always available. If one had done that this trade would have been complete with about a 50 cent gain.

    Doing well so far. Ahead about 60 cents. Price is breaking above a down trendline set back in May 2001. Don't forget the monthly and weekly saucer that has formed. If the daily macd is any indication of near term direction, I would expect a pullback, forming the handle of the saucer/cup...

    Certainly can say both the Dow and 500 are being kind enough to consolidate for the last month. On the daily chart the Dow looks like a nice symmetric triangle, and the 500 looks like an ascending triangle, both of which are considered continuation patterns. Either way it goes, there should...

    Bravo axe'. The bit about fuzzier rules because you understood the trade is awesome. That is the reason I suggest to newer traders that they look at as many charts as they can for the same setup. This gives them a chance to see the many different ways a successful setup can appear. Wtg man.
