Ates, https://www.bogleheads.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=1 Do you want to retire from work one day? If yes, go to the forum above and ask how I can start planning to retire from work one day. I use 10% of my job pay check to buy this fund every month. I am not recommending you do this. Go to...

this is how my chart looks too. LOL. I have lines all over the place. lol. But I need those lines to gauge what to do and where to consider exiting the trade at. Sometimes the line get in my way, but I need them.

Yes, I just hold this for $230, happy i did not exit early on this one. We don't know what is going to happen after entry, so just hold on til price starts to turn. Move the stop loss with common sense. this is a good one, but i take some like -$40 trades today too. some small losses is ok, but...

tenny1886, I like the APE and "follow market when it dictates the moves" As day trader, all I have is my eyes and what is on the chart. It is my job to take the trade and then perform trade management. Forget this risk stuff. The risk is the risk, who cares. What matters is the exit. Will I...

I know a guy with a $1.2 million in his retirement accounts. All in S&P 500 index. From December to January to Febuary 2019, he told me he made about $180K in his account. With out even lifting a finger or thinking or reading a forum or nothing. It does not get any much easier than that. Man, I...

Ates, Do you work a full time job? If yes, ask your company if they have a 401K you can invest in. If you do not work a full time job, invest monthly in a RothIRA for your future wealth creation. Trading is fun and rewarding, but can't bet the bank on it.

Thanks EsKiller, I believe a trader should ALSO invest in his/her retirement account AND day trade. Do not put all eggs in trading. Buying the SP 500 index once a week or one a month is a simple good long term proven investment strategty.

Full time workers working for a employer can invest in company 401K plan each pay check. They can contribute to company 401K investments. Without the work and extra time of trading. So whatever algo you come up with make sure it is beating the S&P 500 index market year after year. If algo not...

I agree with MarkBrown here. Work smarter not harder. The algo has about the same returns at SP500 index. Buy it every two weeks like us working folks.

MarkBrown, Sounds good to me. Let's do it. Because in all honesty, that is what makes trading hard. You have guys like me, who have never had a winning year, and still in trenches learning and practice, and I have the ability to give someone advice on trading. But I don't, because I am smart...

Hello padutrader, I was away for a day. I agree with this part. I think as traders we want a rigid intraday strategy, because it makes it feels comfortable and systematic like a full time job. Like work, we do a task, and we get paid for it, we go home. Traders want to trade like this : 1...

You are right. I will NEVER put all my eggs in trading. I contribute 10% to my 401k for the past 10 years. Allll in S&P 500 index. And I work a full time job. Trading is suppose to be ALOT of additional income. I'm not too sure about the rich old widow deal. I don't want no old woman ...
