lol.... sure it isn't different from many others, except while up at 2:30 in the morning, i'm watching eSignal, and pretty much the rest of the day. The markets are my life, so that is the life I choose. :-P Eat, Sleep, Trade...... it is what I love to do now.

I usually get about 6 - 7 hours of sleep....I'm up at 8:30 est. Go grab a pop-tart or a bowl of frosted flakes. Watch CNBC until open. Then at 9:30 CNBC goes off and I am trading.

IB uses Java.... It made my machine run horribly slow as well. Close all other tasks that are not needed. Run MSConfig on the run menu and go to the startup tab and disable all tasks not required to be running from starting up, I had a bunch of crap that didn't need to be run, like...

Hey Ripley, how's the trading going, haven't talked to you for awhile. And yeah, 60% of your losses from commissions, that is where commissions will not allow you to be successful no matter how good at scalping you are.

I don't even know how to use order-flow to my advantage. I use support and resistance to determine a bias as to where the prices might go. Maybe I'm not in this category of scalping then. In that case, I'm shutting up :D I missed a lot of good moves on AAPL chatting it up :p
