My only reason to use high leverage is to keep the least amount of $ that are need for my style of trading at the broker. I only trade intra day with very tight stops. If I need more, I can wire more funds any time.

I understand why you want to use high leverage to day trade on short term and high frequency, but 2000 should be Ok for this style (assuming that you know what you are doing). If you still want more leverage, check out mirus futures, I believe they used to have 1000 eur for dax.

I do not think TT servers holds historical data. What you can do instead is load historical data with zen-fire and then use TT for trading, if TT is what you need.
