Too broke to get a divorce?

Gee that's funny. And all this time I thought the universe was only 5000 years old! :D

    LinkedIn Profile

Wow I always had it in my mind that a business could be built to do what I described. I remember hearing someone joke that tattoo removal would be the next big growth business. Maybe sites like reputationdefender are right up there, cleaning up your past indiscretions.

    LinkedIn Profile

I actually agree with the OP's intentions based on what I said earlier. Suppose some slimeball has the same name as you? Or suppose you *are* the slimeball but it's all in the past now? Suppose all this negative stuff with your name on it is in the first page of search results? You can't...

    LinkedIn Profile

I used to manually goole myself as well. I discovered google alerts and now google does a bunch of custom searches for me every day. When something new pops up, I get an e-mail. Heck, I even have an alert set up on my long-lost brother's name, the name of my little town (for news items), etc...

    JL Lord's Book

I'm not an Optionetics student, but I have some friends who are. They do know their stuff and they got lots of good info from Optionetics. But I've also heard some complaints that they're spending an increasing amount of time in classes selling the next hot expensive tool or the next hot...

    JL Lord's Book

There have been rumors floating around that J L is one (or more) of the instructors from Optionetics. Nerdy historical note: "J L Lord" was one of the pseudonyms Jesse Livermore used for checking into hotels. It was to keep from being harassed. Nowadays, he'd be arrested as a terrorist...

    JL Lord's Book

I have a friend who owns the J L Lord collar book and I've perused it myself. This book isn't merely a noob guide to collars. It goes more in-depth regarding how far OTM the long put and short call should be. It also goes into detail regarding stock selection and position sizing. The guy's...

    Interactivebrokers account security

I must not have a big enough account. They gave me the plastic card with the random codes on it and didn't offer the electronic device. *pout*

    Interactivebrokers account security

If you do this, you are insane. This is the single barrier that prevents a hacker from keylogging your username/password and emptying your account. Here is a recent slashdot article. Cyber crime is becoming more and more mainstream. Don't assume you're immune.

IB Booktrader Brackets CME Messaging Policy

It looks to me that these fines are levied at the broker level. That is, IB would be fined, not you. I find it hard to believe that a retail customer trading a liquid product like ES could trigger such a fine. They're probably trying to prevent you from doing what MMs do all the time...

    Speed of Internet Connection

Guys don't get hung up on raw throughput (i.e. "speed" = BPS). It's not as important as latency (i.e. "ping time" = mS) for trading. Lower latency is much more important that throughput for trading and online gaming (i.e. Unreal Tournament, not Poker). High throughput is important for...

Refinancing -- these banks should be ashamed

If banks are truly competing with one another, then retail rates will come down. My guess is they *are* competing (I'm not big on conspiracy theories) but are hurting too much to lend at lower rates.

    eur usd going/gone parabolic

If you look at the daily chart, you can see a major resistance level coming up at around 1.4866. Next major bump on the daily is around 1.6000. All you price-action hatahs, watch and learn.

    eur usd going/gone parabolic

It'll eventually stop going up and throw a 1-2-3 reversal. (i.e. a lower high)
