price predictors: is right now a double top or are we going to keep going UP?

Sideways between the two lines I drew? Or sideways around the current price +/- only a dollar or two? I'm long a pretty large position of SPY with an average cost of $123ish so I'd like price to go up, but I want it go to down further first so I can buy more. But my next buy point is at...

Get out of here with your logic and common sense. This thread is about predicting price movement :D

    Your biggest %Percentage% winner?

Hey guys what's your most expensive home worth? Mine's not really so much, only $8,000,000. Hey guys what's your best time when running the mile? Mine's not really so fast, only 1 minute 31 seconds. Hey guys what's the most you've ever squatted? Mine's not really so much, only 2,000 pounds.

QQQ is a little more interesting because its HL was barely higher than the last low. It was pretty much a double bottom.

Trading like this? None. I've only been doing this since the "crash" in 08-09, though. I've had big losses in the past when I would try to predict direction, though. And sometimes daytrading, too. Without checking my records, I think my biggest daytrading loss (ES) was probably around...

Yeah that would've been nice :D I have no idea where price is going so I never know when is the best time to close it. I can't call tops or bottoms nor can I predict direction. I actually thought about closing it the other day but I figured if I did that, price would just keep going down...

I'm trading SPY, not ES. I'm not using margin (yet) so there is no point where I have to take a loss. The next addition may require margin depending on how I go about doing it.

I haven't closed anything out so I haven't taken any losses, much less "crushing" ones. In fact, while I'm currently drawn down about $40k, it's really only $30k because of my hedge, dividends, and previously closed hedge positions. When this trade gets closed, it will likely be in the low...

    SICKEST trading office environment EVER!

Are those firms legit? Or are they churn and burn bucket shops? How hard is it to get a job there? Do they only hire super math degree quant guys? I think Jump is like that... I remember looking at their website a few years ago. Anyway most of those places are really close to me.

    What's the word for this?

A round trip is opening a position and then closing that position. If you do 3 of them in a one week period you trigger the pattern day trader rule. But technically, I don't think there is a time limit. If you buy X shares of ABC stock and then sell those X shares, whether it's 5 minute...

Going to start buying SSO when SPY gets to 105 or 100. I haven't decided which price level quite yet. I have to do some math this weekend. I'm going to use SSO because I don't have enough money left in my account to buy enough SPY without using margin, and I don't want to use margin. SSO...
