My 5 minute charts showed ES and NQ very over-bought on a short-term basis. Looks like both have already recovered. Algo's at work ?

Won't happen....Trump's legacy is actually coming down to this issue. He can't back down now....he would look so stupid. Best you can hope for is a democratic victory next year.

The parabola up-move idea is definitely dead now. We are working on a straight line at best. For Elliott Wave fans, this could be the ending of the long, extended 5th wave. Key technical support levels to watch: 3030 (Sept highs) and 2940 (lower trend line).

Wow, the market has become somewhat political, no ? If seems as though politics has trumped (no pun intended) economics here.

3153.50 level (HOD) was turned-down 7 times before ES moved lower.

Nice call. Why not think about playing weekly options on SPY or QQQ ? With options you can bet up (long calls), down(long puts), or sideways(short straddle or put/call credit spreads).

It's uncanny. The market right now is like that "Whack-a-mole" game on the boardwalk......you wack the mole down and then it pops right back up again.

What's up with the last 3 days price action in ES/NQ ? Down in the morning, Up all afternoon....usually ending at HOA (High Of Afternoon). Any bearish news seems to be ignored.

Not if you're a farmer. The US Economy will eventually feel the effects of the trade war....it will just take more time. Trump is hoping the time-frame for this is after the election.

Parabolic moves can occur in any time-frame. Here's one from 10:30 am today in ES. (200 ticks).

Yeah, but you are trailing your position by a mile. Why not tighten up a bit especially with volatility so low ?

Exactly...he needs to tighten that stop. That way if a trade war disappointment happens, he's out with a great profit. As it is now, a lot of profit would be given up.
