That's exactly what happened. Bill Cruz had a decision at one point to fix all of the bugs in TS2000i and release it as Service Pack 6. He enlisted a consultant to estimate this effort....which came in at 1 man-year of effort. It never happened (of course).

Problem with Ninja is that it is still primitive compared to Tradestation and Multicharts and you must learn Dot-Net C# to be able to program your strategies.

Sorry about that. I keep thinking of Excel for sending orders as well. It's interesting: both IQFeed and TT require additional outlays to do order entry.....while reading the data via RTD or DDE is included. IB of course includes everything for free.

Here's the deal: they have a 5 year old piece of software written using COM or COM+. I had it working very well with Excel. Unfortunately it was not stable....it would crash randomly during the day.....but always in the same offset of the main DLL that was running. I showed it to Genesis tech...

They may have a rejection threshhold price delta built into their API....just a thought. A good question would be: does the Genesis front-end behave in a similar fashion ?
