trends only exist over weeks, months and years. this is what trends are.
anything less is momentum moves. this is often what is mistaken for trends.

i forgot about amibroker, i use it only for eod data but it is a fantastic platform. it's hard to get use to the interface as it is not like any other platform as far as controls etc.
