I agree fan27, It should be very clear the new trend of the SPY is upwards based on the obvious recent green bars. It's best to keep things simple.

Is Trading Itself a Bad Trade? I Analyzed the Industry- Prove Me Wrong

I understand, I imagine this plays a big part in reducing the noise on your smaller timeframe chart and an extra confirmation for the setup. Makes sense and thanks.

Is Trading Itself a Bad Trade? I Analyzed the Industry- Prove Me Wrong

speedo, Thanks and I agree with that. I problem I run into alot is there is always a minor trend line or support or resistance (maybe from noise) I draw throughout the day, that get in the way of my signal. This cause me hesitation and 2nd guessing my setup. Should a trader know when to ignore...

Is Trading Itself a Bad Trade? I Analyzed the Industry- Prove Me Wrong

speedo, This is true, I trade daily and what I notice is that regardless of plan or method, there is always something on the chart at that moment in time that makes me question the setup. Like there is always something minor in the way. The setups are never easy and simple and clear and cut. So...

d08, That's a good logical comment, I personally can not argue or debate with. You are correct. This makes sense. I have no feedback for this because I am not a very talented trader (yet) or a trading course provider.

speedo, I agree with everything you said, accept for the "yet you are still looking for short cuts". Where did I state anywhere in this thread, I am looking for a short cut? I am not looking for anything here on this thread. I am just having a friendly and kindly debate.

Robert Morse, I agree. The point of the trading course is take LEARN and COMPREHEND from someone who has experience trading and take what they teach and develop my own trading ideas and seek profits. This trading stuff is journey not a race. There is an educational process involved. And its...

zenostiffler, With all due respect, programming and systematic trading is a complete waste of time if the trader has no actual manual trading experience. Where will he/she get trading ideas from? systematic or algorithm trading is tool, not an art or skill to making money trading.

d08, We can agree to disagree on this. Mentoring is different from providing a trading course. Either way I do not see nothing wrong with buying a trading course(s) for a trader. How else should someone begin or continue to learn, besides staring at the charts all day. The problem is finding...

False breakouts : Higher success rate than breakouts?

DanielEQQIS, Good questions, The quality of a breakout trade depends on 1. Level price is breaking 2. Timeframe of chart 3. Risk management after breakout. A failed breakout after several attempts does make more logical sense, then one attempt to break out. All the above depends on context...
