I have not seen a better simulator than Ninja with zen-fire feed. As far as live trading going either TT or Ninja/zen-fire are great.

The real challenge is to find a worthy mentor. There are very few with proven track records that are willing to mentor. But if someone thinks that paying few grand to someone is a good education investment, they would later learn that it is few grand wasted for the most part.

The only broker who supports KOSPI is IB. Zen-fire is only for US and EU markets.

Attached are Ninja Trader config screen for KOSPI futures. There are 2 tabs, one is Definition and the other one is Misc.

DOM is pretty liquid. About 300-400 across 5 bid levels and about the same on ask. The spread is 1 tick for most time. This instrument is not in Ninja, but you can add it manually. I will post Ninja config screens today in the evening.

You need to add it manually to instruments. If you need help, I can post the screens here.

Last time I checked it was doing easily 1.5 mil contracts per day on both call and put. There is a thread called trade kopi options as futures, check it out.
