I'm strictly a smalltime retail system trader, but this bugs me. Apparently a whole shit-load of people went along on this ride. These people were brokers where the crooks traded. I guess these trades were in the 10,000-30,000 share range and, stupidly, went off the day before the rating...

I luv it when these shady "traders" get nailed. I know it's a hard game for most, but there are trillions and trillions flowing around world markets. You don't have to be a sleaze bag to get a tiny little piece of it...

CNBC is f*cking great. Market drops a little and they trot out Greenberg and Tice. And they get out the "hardhat". And they have guest after guest offering "what to do in this crisis..." More funny than the damn Comedy Channel! :p

IB worked great for me yesterday. Noticed a few disconnects, but that could be my crappy satellite internet. My orders are always automated limit tho. My experience may not apply to "real time" traders. Good luck to all. :cool:

Make sure the problem is actually TWS/Java. My CPU pegs sometimes when QuoteTracker is getting quotes. It isn't IB at all on mine. Bring up Task Manager and check processes. Is "Stocks.exe" the one at 70%-90% CPU? If it is, that's QT.
