QT will still retrieve quotes from IB, if the TWS is running. I don't use the broker interface, so I don't know if that still works. But having said that, I primarily get quotes from Money.net, thru the QT interface. They are the only ones I know of that offer unlimited snapshot quotes...

Agree with most posters. Overall, I like IE7, but there are some websites (seems to mostly be secure sites?) it has trouble opening. And it does hang sometimes for mysterious and seemingly random reasons. I suspect these probs will be fixed in one of the many many many patches mickysoft...

If you owe taxes this year (because of trading profits) then you will probably have to start fileing qtrly estimated next year. It's not like a casino, where if you win over $2500 you have to fill out a tax form!
