    Bernanke is right

I guess you don't live where I do then. Congrats.

    Bernanke is right

The only problem is there is already rampant inflation in things people need to buy and Bernanke is talking like there is serious deflation. So by the time the US government figures out there is inflation, there is no way you put the cat back in the bag unless you get a Volker-like Fed. Even...

    Bernanke is right

If the Fed didn't keep interest rates artificially low, then this might be correct. But savers at this point are getting reamed.

The AIR Car ... the future is friendly

What I am asking is how much pollution is generated to create the compressed air? This seems to be glossed over whenever somebody talks about compressed air driven cars.

The AIR Car ... the future is friendly

How much energy does it cost to create compressed air? How much pollution is generated? These topics aren't addressed in the article as far as I can see.

    Bernanke is right

OP was talking about this: http://finance.yahoo.com/tech-ticker/ben-bernanke-is-right-%22we-do-have-a-risk-of-deflation%22-joe-brusuelas-says-535748.html nothing about Japan.

    Bernanke is right

The problem with any argument claiming the existence of deflation is that if you traded on the deflation thesis in recent years, your ass would have been handed to you on a silver platter. The market isn't always right, but it usually isn't wrong this consistently for such a long period of time...

Empire Strikes Back. Bank of America cutting off Wikileaks payments

If Bank of America were an institution worthy of respect, they would not interfere with Wikileaks payments but instead work on becoming a more honest, forthright place of business. All the organizations who have blacklisted Wikileaks recently are worthy of contempt and if you are a customer, is...

cramer said to buy a small amount of DEC 44 Call options on best buy!!!!!Down 98%!!!!

I like on his show how he didn't mention BBY at all until a caller nailed him on it. His first segment was even highlighting how great retail is doing (no mention of BBY). If that person hadn't called in, no way he would have "fessed up."

cramer said to buy a small amount of DEC 44 Call options on best buy!!!!!Down 98%!!!!

I have heard Cramer say multiples times to buy 1 share of stock of companies to get invested in them. So translating that to options you probably should have just bought 0.01 shares! You were overleveraged by a factor of 1,000!

cramer said to buy a small amount of DEC 44 Call options on best buy!!!!!Down 98%!!!!

Oh no, I'm sure he will twist his words such that he ends up nailing that call in retrospect. I think he meant to say Put options!

Interactive Brokers HK server down. hey IB it's nearly 2011 you clowns

Or maybe they should rate customers on how often the customer is proven right in regards to notifying them of a problem. If the customer has a really high rating and is calling, then IB could take the issue seriously faster.

Jon Stewart catches Ben Bernanke in a lie about "printing money" video tape here

Oops, they already f**cked it up and having been f**cking it up for the past 10 years. So if you still believe in the Fed, then good luck with that.

And yet that is exactly what they should have done, nothing.

Most Americans Say They're Worse Off Since Obama Took Office, Poll Shows

Why is it the government's job to keep people employed? Seems like we will always be better off when the government stays out of the way. And also we should have let every bank out there fail including Bank of America and Goldman Sachs. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

2 weeks passed, IB never cares to address "stop loss not stopped" problem

Is there a reason that IB would choose not to use "Special Limit Order" versus "Enhanced Limit Order", whatever those are? I.e., is there a valid explanation why they wouldn't want to use "Special Limit Orders"?

2 weeks passed, IB never cares to address "stop loss not stopped" problem

I am a long time customer of IB - probably 10+ years now. Back when I was first trading with them, there was a time when Instinet went down during a heavy trading day and caused all sorts of chaos with IB's order reporting. I had several orders into Instinet at the time and I tried to cancel...
