kg' that is hilarious, and yet, those all seem like reasonable terms. :) TKO', why don't I just send you the chart prior to the start of the thread and you can act like you haven't seen it before? :) Just kiddin' you. Yes they have been daily charts, although that is the reason for no text...

We've all gone to sleep, or have a life outside of ET! Here then is the last chart. It took some fairly good decision making, and you all made money. kg's 5K shares earned him 10 grand over two months, and at 50% margin he was in for about 26K. Not a bad return, the tuition gets paid, and...

Gee this never happens! Just one bar to let you mull this over. Is it tempting enough to make you plan to get in, short or long? Aside: I have to go to the store. It will be about 30 minutes before I return. Sorry. Trade the Chart?

kg' I put a blue bar where I think you mean. Is that right? And TKO very nice job. You put money in your pocket. But isn't that just the way it happens? Stops out the obvious and bounces right back. Who cares. You made money. The indicator at the bottom is the ADX{green}, the +DI{blue}...

You are long 5k shares at the green line in early May. You have a nice profit. You have done a nice job hanging for a good run. Now, your teenager wants a car, and the college tuition is due. You don't want to leave much on the table, but is there more? Trade this Chart!

Where did you get your startup capital?

You are not the first to get a portion of your stake from a parent. Many of the young prop traders get their start that way. I know 3 personally who have, and one of them is the number one guy in his well-known outfit. As long as it was legally acquired, it doesn't matter where you got it. It...

Where did you get your startup capital?

When I was a broker with a major firm 20+ years ago I was more interested in learning to trade than sell. So I made the cold calls at nite, but picked the brains of their traders during the day. Ultimately I went to the spoo pit as a local, and was LUCKY to be short and carrying from the week...

When should I increase my "size"?

Swish I think I received a free audio tape of that once. I really like it too. It makes a lot of sense and treats the p/l as a more dynamic entity than fixed percentge. His goal was to beat Larry Williams record. I wonder if he ever did.

When should I increase my "size"?

Nice work fan"! I am going to presume you have a method that you consistently follow. Because in my opinion, what separates a newbie from an oldbie is discipline. Simply, I believe that an oldbie gets to be an oldbie because he has more discipline. This of course presumes a winning method also...

    DMI/ADX consistently works

Nice post Ken! I would like to enter the ADX and DMI stuff into Excel, but I confess, I am way too lazy to figure it all out. Does anyone have it already for Excel that they would be willing to give to this sloth. Hey speaking of sloths, did you know the only time they come down from...
