    TradeStation question

Here's what I did. First close TradeStation then go to C:\Program Files\TradeStation\Program\Cache and delete everything in that directory (actually I moved it to another directory just in case). Reboot and restart TS.

    which system is better ????

The second system (50% and 1.5 ratio) is slightly more profitable than the other (67% and .86 ratio). However, it's close enough to be virtually meaningless in respect to other principles. For instance, someone might rather trade the 67% winner one - more winners is psychologically better for...

    Which flat-panel to buy?

That's the ones I got. Bought three doubles from them. Work fine. Fast shipping and friendly folks over at that store.

    Which flat-panel to buy?

Yeah, and they ain't cheap :(. You can get a stand that holds two 19" CRTs for about $300, and I can attest they fit the 191Ts cuz I'm looking at them right now :D. I got them from some place like Ergonomic Arms, or something (can't recall). www.lcdarms.com have some as well.

    Is daytrading here to stay?

I'll be honest and say that's what scares me. I'm doing pretty well now, but the stories I hear about the old days make me reach for Rolaids. I dunno that I am ready for those huge swings. . .

    Unveiling A Method!!!

Intelligence and thoroughness are clearly as rare as ever; fortunately for those of us with those traits who seek to extract wealth from those without. You quoted my post, but you did not read it. I did not say, nor did I imply that lundy has nothing to say due to his financial situation...

    Unveiling A Method!!!

So you can't afford esignal, but you are going to pass on this trade based on an "obvious" pattern - when it would make you well over six thousand dollars per contract??

    Yet another multimonitor question

Why wouldn't you be able to mix and match? If the drivers are certified by MSFT then they should work together. I used to work in MSFT support, and it's much more likely that any official combo will work together than not.

Is There Such a Thing as a CONSISTENTLY Profitable Trading System?

Hmmm, perhaps one should curvefit to maximum loss on backtesting. . . :D

A Basic Problem with Systems for Sale

People should view somebody selling a purely mechanical system as if they were selling a stack of money. Why would they sell it for less that it's worth? If they sell it for what it is really worth, how can you make money from it? Anyway, my good deed for the day is done. If you read this...

A Basic Problem with Systems for Sale

No harry, that's exactly my point that there is a scalability limitation. If there was no limit, somebody could invent a system, give it to all of us, and we'll all be rich. Just like Socialism :D. I'm saying that developers lose when they sell their systems due to that limit, and they can...

A Basic Problem with Systems for Sale

Thanks for your critique, eyecheck. I'm not sure what MM issues are, but as for the second part of point 1, it is clearly better for the system developer to pyramid up on his system, rather than burn market efficiency to build trading capital. Should the developer have zilch, surely he could...
