It would appear that we have a variety of crap instigators (more likley, just one who is creating new aliases). Over the past 24 hours, we've had several posts by new user IDs asking extremely fundemental questions, in essence "Just Asking for it."

Imagine selling something at a garage sale. You put an item out, and a price on it. Basically, you are offering it out for sale. If a person comes in and buys it, you sold at the ask.

That reason would be so the site could sell advertising by saying "See how often these guys post?"

Another statistic that may be of note is the total posts to the number of different threads posted to. I've noticed the trolls tend to have a huge number of posts in a small number of threads.
