i wouldn't be surprised if the dow opened up 300 or down 300 on monday either way, both scenarios are a sell imo personally positioned 50% long and 70% short in stock port. cash in fut. port. leaning more towards the negative scenario. all the doomsayers were on tv last night. we'll see

i normally trade stocks got the idea this morning why don`t i do the same with futures was a bit of an experiment to be frank

i try to keep winning positions as long as possible

i wish i didn`t start this thread now, everyone is ganging up on me maybe the reason is that i mostly sell covered calls or puts when the underlying is already at a profit and the strike is +- my target nevermind

maybe because i find it harder to manage risk/sizing with options

but i still think that being long xyz and short the call is safer than being short the put especially in a portfolio that is long and short stocks

i would never short a put without the underlying
