thats if you were able to correctly identify it as a pullback. I was thinking it was a pullback before more of a move down. I was incorrect, but I didnt trade it, so its all good.
Normally when we see this many tails, and the market hasn't pushed up yet, this isn't a good sign for bulls. If the market manages to pull through here and make new highs, its just another sign that the market is on crack.
this 4 hour chart shows that we should see a push down. a push to new highs followed by a candle that engulfs it while i an uptrend, more often than not, spells weekness.
Very very basic pattern.
I want to short, but my system isn't giving me a signal. We are just over the 200ema on the 15 min chart. Still seeing some bulls buying this area, but having trouble pushing it up. With any luck we get a good failure soon :)
I hope so. I bought some SPY puts 2 mins before close. Unfortunately, I complete forgot tomorrow is non-farm today. big oops for me. Don't like to gamble like that normally. We'll see.
neither direction really is all that convincing right now. I might call it quits for the day. Long looks more likely, but I'm having a hard time getting a handle on this price action :/
now we're at 1298. Straight up since the open, and we're at heavy resistance. The smart move would be to wait for a pullback, but I don't see that happening.
I'll just wait on the sidelines and watch everybody else make money :/
wow, i thought somebody would have been screaming head and shoulders pattern on the ES by now. Well I'll be that guy
POSSIBLE HEAD AND SHOULDERS FORMING NOW !
So lets turn the tables a little bit. So by your argument, are you saying that military does not deserve pension after 20 years either ? B/c its the same thing.
Easy for someone to say that hasn't worked for the gov't for 15+ years building up for a pension and planning around it. You can't just take something like that away.
and to make matters worse, you couldnt have picked a worse time to start trading ES fulltime. Very very small intraday ranges, which make it very tough to trade.
