    Review of TraderDNA.com

Just curious if anyone has tried out http://www.traderdna.com/ Looks interesting but not much on their site other than call us. No idea on pricing, what all you get with this, etc. If anyone has tested it out or uses it, share your opinion! Side note - if anyone has a suggestion for...

Time of Day Price Pattern-ES, YM, ER, NQ

Stupid question - if you can make regular money in the afternoon session and the morning is hard for you, why bother with the morning to begin with? Just load up in the afternoon where you know your odds are better. Why try to stick a square peg into a round hole? The ES is plenty liquid so...

I thought this was a bullish hammer, but I guess I was wrong (pic)

Iron - I would suggest keeping with your EOD candle education! I have found that EOD of candle patterns can be reliable on an EOD basis.

web based email - what is the best

gmail is good, just takes a little getting used to at first, esp if you are used to the Outlook setup. Example - they call your emails 'conversations' so when you reply to an email, it's now a conversation. If you delete that email from the sent mail folder, it could also be deleted from the...

    mini to full S&P contracts

I had the same question regarding how many you could drop on the ES with a market order and was told by some here and by 3 different brokers that I have a good relationship with that up to 2,000 is manageable on the ES. The average was about 1250 for sake of discussion.

    Recommended news websites

What are some good news websites to visit during the day? I've been using google and their business links, but some of the links from there are sketchy at best. Today a page I went to visit attempted to put a trojan horse on my computer. Apparently google will link to anything... So, what are...

Velocity Vs. Global Futures, Vs. Etc.

I don't know what your personal rate quote would be, go over to their site and take a look. I don't work for them, just suggesting. I doubt TT will work with it since they have their own software.

I thought this was a bullish hammer, but I guess I was wrong (pic)

The other part of the equation Fist is what you do (if anything) when a pattern fails. Some would say reverse, some say nothing. It looks like you have A LOT of studying to do if you plan to trade candlesticks. Just looking for a picture that resembles something you found on a free website...

Velocity Vs. Global Futures, Vs. Etc.

I'd suggest contacting Open ECry as well. Very good rates, great customer service and their platform is free. I realize free could imply junk, but it's top notch. I guess it depends on what you need, so test it out on trial first.

I thought this was a bullish hammer, but I guess I was wrong (pic)

Fist - that was a hammer by textbook definition. Again, it comes down to how/when you would have traded it. As I said, the entry part of this equation is very important as there are a variety of ways the trade could have played out: 1) Buy at the market > probably stopped in the same day...

I thought this was a bullish hammer, but I guess I was wrong (pic)

Also keep in mind that candlesticks are not 100%. If they were, everyone would use them. I saw a few other potential hammers on your chart as well that could have worked. Again, it's all about the entry/exit methodology.

I thought this was a bullish hammer, but I guess I was wrong (pic)

That may or may not have been a valid hammer depending on your entry strategy. As another post said, you could have put a buy stop above the close of the hammer and there would be no fill on this particular trade. I've read that some traders prefer to have price come down somewhere into the...

Using SnagIt is not terribly difficult at all. I would suggest trying the trial - http://www.techsmith.com/download/snagittrial.asp

Most basic #1 newbie picture question

Much easier than using the archaic Paint - use SnagIt. Very easy to use once you try it a couple times. http://www.techsmith.com/snagit.asp

    Looking for a MultiCharts login

Thanks for the advice. Point of the classifieds section is to sell something that you have that you don't want. So, if someone has an MC login they have no intentions of using, I can purchase that from them. Everyone is happy.

    Looking for a MultiCharts login

Not sure if this is doable or not, but if anyone has a MultiCharts login that they are interested in selling, please PM me. I'm looking for a permanent login, not just a temporary trial or anything. Send me a PM and we can work out the details.
