    Should I sue over this?

las - you need a securities employment lawyer ASAP. You can't let this sit long and you need to be proactive. Having been in the same biz years ago, I remember what dealing with compliance is like and you have to act quickly and show you mean business.

Will you buy timmay's hedge fund book?

Here's the million dollar question - how many pages will this thread go? I can't believe we are at 55 pages! The ironic part is that for all the haters on this thread, you are keeping the product that you already hate at the forefront of a highly visited website. Seems counter-productive if...

FXCM Moves 99% of Clients to No Dealing Desk, Adding New Benefits

Good observations surf. I don't trade FX and here is a great example why. I'd love to see the vid's on youtube!

Nothing is fishy. You were just at the back of the line. Use an MIT if you must get in if that price level is touched.

    SuperTurtle Number 1 Multi-Market System

Hey retard, check my follow up post to Steve. You mind as well include yourself on the observation that Steve made about the declining level of intelligence around here. In case that's not clear for you and/or Steve - have you ever asked a question when you already knew the answer? :confused...

    SuperTurtle Number 1 Multi-Market System

Thanks for the insight Steve, but the question was not directed to you, our resident mensa agent. The question was being asked even though the answer is already known. I would hope that someone as intelligent as you could pick up on something so blatantly obvious. Guess not. :confused...

    SuperTurtle Number 1 Multi-Market System

This is an incredibly valid question. Instead of charging a few hundred bucks and getting torn apart here trying to peddle the product, setup a CTA and take a percentage of all the gains! ! ! That is a no brainer if this is in fact as good as being advertised. Great question bjl!

Which index futures do You trade?

A few clarifications would help from an ES trader's perspective... 1. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (YM) is the most widely watched index of large-cap US stocks followed by the S&P 500 (ES). It is considered to be a bellwether for the US economy. The S&P is very close in...

Frosty's trading bot goes live part 2

frost - I think osorico is pointing out how the end result in terms of CASH is adding up here. Your winning days are not offsetting, let alone taking you into profit, from your down days. That should be a concern in my opinion. Just winning is not enough if one losing day takes out 2-3 winning days.

Will you buy timmay's hedge fund book?

I see your 'last post' lasted about 20 min's from the next post. I don't know why you guys are so attracted to Tim and his story. YOU said you were done and approx TWENTY MINUTES LATER you posted again. How funny. That is admiration at it's best. :D

is it possible to cut in line on the bid/ask que

It's safe to assume on the ES that if you are sitting with a limit order it MUST trade through to get filled. Just work under that assumption. If that's not acceptable, you can easily get fills on the ER2 or YM easily, even the NQ for the most part.

That's kinda funny... good point rcan!

What % of traders really make money?

bagger - do not let this forum be the reason for ANY assumptions... This forum THRIVES on tearing people down. If you claim you make money, no one believes you. If you claim that you lose money, everyone believes you. It does not matter if you post charts, statements, etc. b/c everyone will say...

Will you buy timmay's hedge fund book?

You missed my point LHorn. EVERY trader, incl all the great ones here, have made mistakes and Tim is at least willing to talk about it (in the book). Why not talk about his trials and tribulations vs. just attacking? I know, no one here has ever had a losing trade and it's more fun to simply...

Will you buy timmay's hedge fund book?

Wow, you guys are really taking this discussion to heart. Perhaps a new thread could be more useful for everyone if we had an adult-like conversation with Tim about some of his trades and what he learned from them. Maybe something people could benefit from... example - skimming thru the...

How much should one forget to be successful?

Tough question. It's very easy for new traders to get stuck in paralysis by analysis... but what to get rid of is hard to say in a blanket statement. What works for me will not work for others and vice versa. It's a matter of finding what works best for you, which will require many different...

Oh yeah - you forgot BERNIE KOSAR prado! The steal of the supplemental draft! Seriously, he was a great QB (and where my 019 reference comes from). Oh man... football season is quickly approaching! Anyone else ready for some football!!

Will you buy timmay's hedge fund book?

Stranger things have happened! Note - you didn't say when they would win the SB, so it just may come true. :D Anyways, odds are that quite a few people on this board will buy the book... if nothing else, this thread is keeping the book in the forefront of their minds.

    500000 Iphones times $500ea = $250,000,000 -- So Why Is AAPL Down?

If the market was that easy, everyone would be a multi-millionaire in the markets. Perhaps the service issues are a bigger impact than you think... In the end, the market is always right. :D

I agree thunder. Most will not admit it here, but many will buy it for different reasons (but purchase it nonetheless).
