Ummm.... ok....
I hope you hired an English translator b/c not sure the people you are complaining to will even understand a word of what is going on here.
I still have some buddies back at the firm where I worked and I couldn't take it if I was still there. Yes, the money can be very good but at what cost?
If you drink the koolaid, all is well but sooner or later people wise up to what they've been spoon fed.
And even when you do follow the...
Michael - the answer is easy - fear of being sued. Everything in the broker world, esp. the big firms, is about not being sued.
That's the goal - do not get sued.
How do you not get sued? Sell funds and managed products.
As for your example, there are no such thing as pivots on the...
Wow, this is like an ex-broker gathering! I was also in the same spot - built up a book for 4.5 years but in the last year or so that I was there, things had changed with compliance and such that I just had enough of it. I was making good money, but it wasn't worth all the stress.
So I...

sss - the above post is right - you need correct English here if you expect any results. Your letter is simply difficult to read and cannot be taken seriously.
OEC's charts are just fine. If you need something they don't provide, there are a few charting co's you can use. I've used MultiCharts in the past and it's been pretty good but now that OEC has everything I need, I just use OEC's charts.
I sent an email awhile back explaining that the email newsletters from Green Trader look terrible in gmail. After no luck, thought I'd post here and maybe someone there will read it.
Here's what your emails through google look like:
I'm not sure if those lines are planned or not, but...
Good post from Derek.
I asked a similar question to a few brokers in regards to the max amount you could throw at the market w/o seeing more than 1 tick slippage and I was told by a few brokers that you could do up to 1000. I've not had the opportunity to yet trade 1000 at one moment, so take...
Hey Reav,
Long time no talk!
FYI - Orders at Open ECry rest on THEIR servers, not your computer.
You bring up an important point that many new traders fail to notice.
For trading multiple futures accounts, Open ECry's block function is nice - http://www.openecry.com/software/softwarehighlights_allocationblock.cfm
I just like that I can customize it all myself directly on the platform - no emails, calls, etc.
Any decent firm will shut off your account before allowing it to go into a deficit. I have yet to see a firm that does not at least have an 'oh shit' shut off valve for all accounts. Most will allow you to set that level as well.
That's not true at all.
I've been trading for a number of years full-time now and I am with OEC. I do not WANT high margins B/C I DO NOT NEED THEM.
What's the point of having cash sitting there earning nothing?
So, I would argue that seasoned traders are the ones that benefit the MOST...
There's a few different ETF websites out there, just hop on google. The key is to keep the funds diversified and minimize overlap. I would look for an 'xray' service like what morningstar offers to make sure there is minimal overlap of the same stocks.
