    success rate for option traders?

lol thanks for all the compliments then. Curious. Do you trade options? You're right. But if you can do all that, why not use them for the leverage? Granted you can do that of course......

Looking for good remote prop trading firm

Check TradeVision. I did remote trading through them and the commissions were great. If it helps you could mention my name. They might help you out. Was with them for about two years, however I wasn't very profitable. Still a great firm though IMO :). If you would need more...

    Are prop firms less stressful?

I was wondering if prop firms were less stressful than trading by yourself in a room. I figure trading with other traders would be not only a bit more inspirational, but also you'd feel like you're not alone and would feel less stress during each trade. Any opinions on this? I'd...

    success rate for option traders?

I always thought it was the other way around. I thought options were the easy way out. unlimited upside and limited downside has to move the odds into the option traders favor. You're right though, the odds are stacked against the trader. I suppose someone who's a bit more knowledgable on...

A fitting quote for the times

"Modern man drives a mortgaged car over a bond-financed highway on credit-card gas." - Earl Wilson one of my favorite quotes along with this...... "It sounds extraordinary but it’s a fact that balance sheets can make fascinating reading." - Mary Archer I don't know what she was...

I could've been a Dentist, a Doctor, a Nurse but no I took wrong path, trading

See here's the thing. 228 million years. No one's ever lived for that long or could comprehend that length of time. There's NOTHING out there that would ever EVER indicate or "represent" 228 million years. Yeah it's just a gauge. Right. I just can't buy into it. Why not 328 million...

You daytrade because making money without hard work is too good for you?

I stopped daytrading and have been more profitable and had less stress. To each his own, but i'd rather swing and do other stuff during the day like work. In all honesty, I really don't like daytrading nor am i very good at it.

I could've been a Dentist, a Doctor, a Nurse but no I took wrong path, trading

If you're good you're good. But you must be exceptional because I'll be honest. Everytime I come across someone with so many opinions, they usually follow that up with plenty of excuses. .....and you know where that leads My apologies. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen any MM...

    Profitable trader trade-log. After years.

Thanks. I appreciate it. You're right though. I put myself in their shoes and it's not a huge deal. We'll see though :) At least I'll hopefully be doing what I enjoy.

    Profitable trader trade-log. After years.

Oh it would have been a lot more had I not had my ass handed to me for the past 3 years. I lost in futures, I lost in stocks, I lost in daytrading until the final 2 months. But by that time I needed a leg up. Options gave me that, plus I didn't have to watch the market every day. Yup...
