That line I drew could be support. Or it could be nothing because price could be random.

CCNBC vs Reuters vs Nasdaq - whose data is accurate??

I dunno, man. I've also noticed that stockcharts.com and yahoo finance sometimes give different data. I mean like the highs and lows on certain days are different. I made a thread about it here: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=245000

No, but since I'm not using leverage I'm not in danger of blowing my account.

So I think at the next buy point I'm gonna close the SPY position for a loss and just go with QLD. Unless both prices happen to rise and I can close them both for a profit. It's not like I have any idea where price is going to go. I dunno we'll see. I think the next QLD buy point will...

Successful Trading and Compounding - On Steroids

If you have a system that is going to give good returns, which you say you have, you won't really lose anything in the long run by waiting a few weeks/months to run it on sim first. But you have everything to gain.

I read somewhere that the market was closed today for Veterans Day so I didn't even watch the market at all today. Whoops. 11/12/2012: SPY: -$369 QLD: -$160

I might just make it simple and sell the SPY and buy like 75 extra shares of QLD. It probably isn't equivalent but it doesn't really matter, I just want to focus on QLD right now. Then again, that will change my starting amount and make all subsequent adds larger. I might just close the...

Which Tick Charts do you prefer for Day-Trading?

Depends on the instrument you're trading. It's going to be different for everyone. Although some people think there are magic numbers that give you special insight into the markets (like Fib numbers, for example), there really aren't. I've specificially seen 144 and 233 tick charts...

That is actually not a bad idea. The cost would basically be two commissions. It would change the average cost, too, but I could recalculate everything based on the new numbers and just buy more/less as necessary.
