    CME and NYMEX

I see it as more positive then negative. It is great to have all products that one trades on one platform. As far as increasing fees, they probably will a little bit, but if they try to do it by a lot, some newcomer or somene like ICE will offer competing product cheaper, and thus will reduce...

SEASON 2, thursday TV WALLSTREET WARRIORS

What do you think about Brett? Managing 100mm private equity fund and only being 28 is very impressive. However, he mentions that he got in business 2 years ago, and as far as I know to get any money to manage at such age is almost impossible unless one has some very strong connections and...

    Short DAX at 7740

Did anybody look at Euro Stoxx 50 during this week? Looking back on at the charts, it looks like it could have been traded this week instead of DAX. The moves were great and the book was probably thick enough since it usually trades over 1 mil contracts per day. The spread probably was also more...

    Esignal disapointment.

Yep you can just get data only and thus pay less. When you call them also mention ninja, they have some relationship with esignal.

    Esignal disapointment.

Ninja only charges you if you use platfrom for live trading, and it is only $50 per month, charting and sim trading is free. You actually pay less to esignal is you only use their feed and not patform. Ninja supports many feeds, so you easily compare the performance.

    Linking Excel and .NET application

Hello, Does anyone know how to link excel cell into .net application? I am using Ninja Trader and need to link one excel cell (the value changes in real time) into its indicator. I was told that it can be done since Ninja indicators are written in .NET framework, but I can not figure out how...

    Short DAX at 7740

If the spread does not touch you order it obviously will not be trigerred. If it does it will try to fill. I have not experienced it on DAX, but have seen such situation in HSI. When the spread widens it will try to trigger your resting order. Whether it gets filled or not, depends on the order...

    Short DAX at 7740

Another morning where I could not trade. I just could not believe how thin the book got and stayed and the spread. I just looked at YM and ER and they look slightly better.

    Esignal disapointment.

Guys, in case you missed my last post. Try Esingal feed into Ninja Trader charts.

    Esignal disapointment.

A good combination, and a cheaper one is esignal data feed going into Ninja Trader charts (Ninja is free for charting and demo trading). I trade DAX futures and esignal was reporting data today without any delay, and it was a crazy morning in Europe as we all know.

    Short DAX at 7740

Hi Baron193, I would say it shows maturity. All these moves looked great onn charts, but reality is a bit different. The speed, spread and slipage could have killed positions before they went into green. The only way to trade intra day on such days is to increase size of stop loss by a lot...

    Short DAX at 7740

I am not sure about stop limits since I do not use them. I have mine as stop market orders, so it always gets me out sometimes with small slippage. Obviously on days like today you can easily get killed with market orders. I would guess that if you have stop limit on exchange, and the price...

    Short DAX at 7740

They will be triggered depnding on what type of orders they are. These moves today of 100s of points within minutes (there was around 150 points move within 5 minutes) make me want to trade so badly, but it is against my rules to trade when book is so thin and spread is unreasonable, so I am...

I just saw spread as wide as 11 ticks, I have never seen it before.

    Short DAX at 7740

I am staying away. The depth is way too thin and the spread is constantly jumpimg to 4-5 ticks.
