Are you shorting upside down hammers, too? What are you doing when there's a hammer at the end of an uptrend? What do you do when the bottom wick on the hammer is longer than your stop loss?

mean reversion is awesome until you get caught in a huge trend and blow your account.

How responsive is your trend filter? I've seen some that filter out chop, but by the time they give a signal, the trend is over.
