No way a national sales tax passes because there is one overriding rule in US politics currently and that is to ream people who save money as much as possible.
According to him, he's been telling people to lighten up on the horsemen. Of course, every other night he pumps RIMM, AAPL, GOOG, and AMZN anyway. Now he can say you should have sold yesterday. How nice it must be to rewrite history.
What I don't understand is why stop at $600? I mean, why not just pay everyone $10,000,000 and then we are all RICH! Doesn't that make more sense? It makes as much sense to me as what they are doing now.
I'm sure the Deluxe version or whatever would have what you need. I dumped TurboTax when it couldn't handle a big number in one its edit boxes, claiming that I had to upgrade to the Pro version. Complete crock of crap in my opinion.
What you are saying is ridiculous. The Fed shouldn't give a crap about where the stock market is and all they are doing is propping it up artificially (which never works in the long run). I would much rather have a recession than have hyperinflation. The US can come out of recession stronger...
Unfortunately for your argument, he has been proven wrong many times. I would say it is a coin toss on what he says coming true. He is worth 100 mil because of his wife bailing him out. And besides, I am talking about how arrogant he is on his MadMoney show. He puts people down left and...
The biggest problem I have with Cramer is just that he is an arrogant prick. Any view that is presented that is contrary to his view gets shot down via insults and maniacal yelling. And then if he is proven wrong, he just changes his mind on the topic and declares victory. Just watch his Mad...
It is ridiculous that the Fed even looks at the stock market when deciding to cut or raise rates. The Fed is a joke. Rates need to be at least 400 bps higher in order to curb inflation. The Fed should be worried about inflation, not propping up a cry baby market.
Yep, I agree. The real solution is to just exit the losing position. However, once the person puts on the hedge, the heavy burden that is gnawing at their soul is lifted. Maybe then they will be able to see the situation for what it is and make a rational decision to just exit everything...
For a trader that has a huge mental block over a losing position and cannot get out even though they know they should, maybe hedging with a correlated security allows them to "exit" the position without the mental hangup. I would never do it, but maybe this technique would allow a person...
Cramer blows. What a turdbag. He is both bullish and bearish every other show. Then he forgets the one side that is wrong when the market goes one way or the other. He is also a prick and insults everyone who doesn't share his own views. What a turdmeister. Cannot believe this dipshit has...
From the reaction on this thread, it seems like this guy needs to capitalize on all the web traffic going to his blog. Hope he gets a lot of ad-click through revenue to make up some of his losses.
I am confused. Why would he want to hedge his position? You know the way to perfectly "hedge" the position that you are getting shafted by? You get out pronto. No need to hedge. I could be wrong, but he could have just exited the position at anytime. It wasn't like the contract he was in...
