they lured the masses in short this morning, perfect op to F em. full gap much lower prob when gap is more then 8 pts is what one guy told me. i like your analysis about gap below previous day low. in any case, half gap seems to higher prob in most cases but not sure.

with this large of a gap (over 8 pts one guy told me), lower prob of filling full so i think 42 is a good target

I found trying to pick a long time frame bottom / top is very difficult to do. I also have learned that I should trade what I see and not what I think. Trading what one thinks involves emotion imo. Emotions and trading are like oil and water. I hope it works out for you. Good luck.

A little less ego and maybe someone would be willing to help you with the short side trading. Just because you can't trade the short side doesn't mean others cannot.
