Your going to want an HD projector ,don't go cheap. Keep in mind that the room you want to use should be able to go pretty dark on command with good shades that keep all the light out. Projectors are awesome for movies and videogames, for work it's not really practical but fun to hook up once...

I know what you mean which is precisely why I don't like posting live trades or intentions anywhere. The ego can get in the way which is why I don't do that on twitter or anywhere else. I just like to talk about the action of the day, what is moving, pointing out some patterns , headlines...

Trading solo, is lonely yes. Music, tv, a movie in the background, Social networking during the trading day can mix it up. Get a solid group on twitter to follow/converse with throughout the trading day. The best thing is to have a hobby/fun activity to look forward to after the trading day.

You can see with all this frenzy on the news how powerful "selling dreams" is. Brokers/Vendors love it when people get that warm fuzzy feeling when they think about how much they will make from the market.

Keep the discipline, check the ego, check the emotions, make sure all loose ends are tied up for every situation and trade the plan.

That's what I would do, join the navy or air force. You could also do some labor job like landscaping. Once you have enough to buy your own lawnmower and a used truck then start mowing on your own.

EMG in both cases of the big move on the 15th and today there were major headlines at/around the time of the move. The 15th was the Reserves Realease rumour and today was iran 300,000 barrels a day off the market news. Whether or not headlines cause HFT to malfunction I don't know...

There were 34000 lots traded in 5 min on the 15th , same thing today. HFT or not, they are killer moves.

Don't dick around with signals, just do your thing, you're asking for some lawyer to take you to the cleaner and other unwanted liabilities.
