Gold is going back up but not silver. I might buy some UGLD but I don't like buying things that are already going up. As always, if I buy some I will let you all know either ahead of time or in real time here and on Twitter so no one accuses me of posting trades after the fact.

The VIX goes up and down. I want to trade something that mimics its movement. I don't think there's any complex understanding required. I don't care how VIX is calculated; I want to trade something that behaves like the VIX.

It does not appear that OEC has VIX futures. Do only certain brokers have them?

SVXY seems to be the only one that actually moves, but it's inverse, and doesn't seem to be proportional to the actual VIX: Plus I don't buy things that are in up trends.

I read somewhere lumosity doesn't do what it claims to do. I can't remember the details of it, though.

Obviously it's a black swan even but what happens to UGLD is GLD drops over 33% in a single day? UGLD is 3x GLD so a 33% drop in GLD = a 100% drop in UGLD.

Thinking about getting some UGLD, too.
