    Newbie Question

dude, he's the webmaster. He makes their website look pretty. I doubt he writes the content or programs the trading software. It's like a bilboard advertising company doing an ad for a turbo car. They don't have to know how a turbo system works, they just need to know what the client wants...

    Newbie Question

Are you wondering what futures are, or how to trade them? Futures trade just like any stock. Try to buy low, sell high, or short high, buy low. They differ from stocks in that every month or every few months or every so often (depending on the how that contract is set up), they "roll...

    The reality of trading

Respected sir, I would like to buy your emotional algorithm. Is US$10,000,000 enough? I own multiple trusts in Nigeria so I if US$10,000,000 is not enough we can negotiate. I will give you US$5,000,000 as an act of good faith for these proceedings.

Only trading options instead of stocks?

Thanks for the info. Ok as you guys know (because I state it all the time), I cannot predict price movement. so I basically buy index ETFs in such a way that I either make money or I eventually make money (average down basically). In doing it that way, I guess what I am "paying for" is the...

Only trading options instead of stocks?

I just read somewhere that said any stock position can be replicated with options, and then it went on to talk about how it's advantageous to do so with options instead of buying stock. What's this all about? So like if want you be long a stock do you just buy a call instead? How would...

So a Bloomberg Terminal is $1,500 per month. Why?

Well I guess if you need that info and want a fancy messaging system then maybe it's worth it. Sounds like it's unique info you can't really get elsewhere, at least not in one standalone package like that. I was just wondering if it was like that company that used to sell "dual monitor...

why did QQQQ just change to QQQ?

Does that mean anything to us as traders? I bought some QQQQ the other day. Will there be any weird crap at tax time after I sell it as QQQ?

Thanks. So does that info affect stock prices, or do people trade the interest rates themselves?

What does "volatility" mean to you?

Not necessarily looking for dictionary definitions, but rather what it means to you.

why did QQQQ just change to QQQ?

I thought the stock market was broken this morning when none of my charts would open. Yahoo finance needs to merge their old QQQQ charts with QQQ so we can get more than 1 day's worth of data, too. freestockcharts.com already did this, because they are awesome.

So a Bloomberg Terminal is $1,500 per month. Why?

oh i see. Yeah the only thing I trade are the indexes, SPY, QQQQ, and DIA (and their weighted counterparts) so it probably wouldn't be of much use to me huh. Can I get Cliffs notes on what a credit swap rate is?
