    Format or uninstall?

Format and it get it set up how you want now. Much easier as you have all the discs, support, etc. Just deleting the program will not remove all of it from your computer. There's always traces of it around somewhere. Mind as well start from scratch in my opinion.

I bet we get a bearish DOJI candle in index futures

A doji in and out itself is nothing. It must be read in context of the chart and current movements.

Acer 24" Any good for trading ES?

Looks nice to me. I think monitors are personal preference. I have six 17"'s stacked as I like the separate screens. But if just trading one market and you can set it up how you like, looks like a nice monitor.

Warning MB TRADING filled my limit order wrong plce

This is quite the entertaining thread. These are the kinds of people that are trading? When you can't even place the order on your entry system correctly (if you even know what type of order you need), it's time to revisit your idea of trading to make money. This is just too funny. Help...

    Questions about ES options

Few things here arch: First, spend some time at www.cme.com and www.cbot.com RE: your questions A futures broker is not going to care if your options hedge is making money. They only care about the futures trade that is put on. Now, a firm like IB that does both, I do not know if they allow...

    Questions about ES options

I agree with Dack, this is a bad idea. With each tick on the ES at $12.50 per contract, hoping that your position 'bounces back' can blow out your account before that even happens. Unless you plan to trade with 0 leverage, not having a stop loss on your actual futures trade is asking for a...

Do you care about Spot Price & FMV of ES Futures?

Not a consideration in my trading. I just have an audible alert go off when a program trading level is hit. It's just for reference only, I do not use it trade off of.

Do you care about Spot Price & FMV of ES Futures?

That's what I use as well. I have not referred to it as fair market value for years, just simply as program trading.

Do you care about Spot Price & FMV of ES Futures?

I personally do not use spot or FMV in my trading. Perhaps those that do can offer some advice. The only thing that comes to mind is watching the program trading numbers and being aware of when these levels are hit. Not sure if that's what you are looking for or not, but it may help.

Tradestation vs. Open E Cry for Futures

I use TS for charting but would never clear thru them after some issues on their trading matrixes. I would consider TS for charting and OpenECry for execution.

Regular CPA versus CPA for traders

Well said dan. You can get 'hurt' if using someone that does not fully understand how taxes effect a trader by simply overpaying on your taxes.

Regular CPA versus CPA for traders

Toon - although this is not directed to me, I think your response left your comments wide open. How can you get hurt if you are a professional trader using a 'highly qualified' CPA? Assuming this CPA does not deal with traders (odds are you would be the only one), I hope you see the potential...

    ES Journal Archive (2006 - 2008)

Interesting discussion on trading with the trend... I think it boils down to how you define trend. If you are looking at daily or weekly charts, it's fairly easy to go with the trend. On an intraday basis however, I do not think following the trend is as easy or useful really. We could...

    Negotiate for more trading privilege?

And while that sounds good now, as soon as you blow your account out, you'll scream 'how could they let me do this to myself!' That is the reason for the know your customer rule as the other poster said. Basically, it's to help prevent retards from trying to point the finger at someone else...
