I know you can trade futures in an IRA with Open ECry and I know OEC offers pit traded contracts... But, not sure if you can trade pit traded contracts in an IRA. Worth a call or email to find out though.

I was an avid T4 user and I would still be there had I not received a good deal with Open ECry AND liked the platform. By moving off T4 to OEC, I saved myself the $500/mo fee to T4.

It's not exactly what you want, but a Plan B can be to intern at a financial advisor's office. If the goal is some sort of finance/stock experience on the resume, it is an option. Many brokers can use someone in the summer at cheap labor.
