True - another good point. If they enact a $25K (or higher) rule on futures, I think you'll see plenty of shops go out of business. Fact is that many rely on the smaller accounts to make it.

What could get really interesting is if the SEC then goes after the many futures scam artists out there as they have done w/ a few stock jockies. Wonder what guys like Franz that used to be at TI would do then... :D

Says a lot when the gov't feels the need to force people to save for their retirements. It's one extreme to the next - fund it yourself or we'll force you like it or not.

I have a question - why is there so much freakin hatred on this board? I go over to traders laboratory and you can find peaceful, calm conversations. Come here and these threads all turn into a who's dick is bigger thread. It's such a shame. I'd say ask the mod's to be more proactive, but...
