i have to agree with mav on the work point. i've been trading a long time and work harder than ever. ie: hours per night. i will also study over the weekends and have every trade predetermined for the following week. i review my models over and over and over even as i fine tune them...i wish...

currently running far smaller size..could have been well in to 6 fig week with old margins...but very thankful nonetheless. week 10/14/13 to 10/18/13 was very good; hope some of you guys here enjoyed success also recently.

speaking for myself; i endeavor to enter combo's as "edge entries". there is little edge in a straight out pair that needs a sell off. you want to line it up with another pair as you already know. the question is..can the lineup be an edge price that regardess of market direction it will earn...

ib tacks on a bit more than cfe but it still costs you nearly as much with your alternatives. the real issue is if you continue trading these can you trade these differently enough to still make it worthwhile?

as i last posted i needed vol. this is today's long vol covers. i hope i am not too premature but when es dived today i could not resist taking some profit. i still have my share of long vol but whats left is now a hedge to short vol instead of a trade on its own.
