Jesse Jackson: Black investment banks not getting Blackstone IPO action

Probably a true statement. But your implication that one race is pulling the trigger is ignorant.

Jesse Jackson: Black investment banks not getting Blackstone IPO action

Nice job completey ignoring my argument. I don't know if your stats are right but by sticking up for Pabst you are sticking up for his statement: which is intolerable. If you really believe this, then I'm sorry.

Jesse Jackson: Black investment banks not getting Blackstone IPO action

He is not stating facts. He claims this: How is this a fact? Just by saying this he implies that one race kills people with guns while others do not. And this is obviously not a fact. Now it could be if you look at statistics that one race uses guns with a higher frequency than others...

Jesse Jackson: Black investment banks not getting Blackstone IPO action

Gee, I'm sure you (and they) must be right. Your arguments on this topic are unassailable... or it could be that you are an idiot. While you are at it, would you care to demean any other race based on generalizations?

Cnbc And Cramer Have Gone Too Far

Did Cramer drink a margarita on TV tonight? Does that break any laws on drinking on TV shows? Can someone please fire him, thanks.

someone at IB needs thier ass kicked

Part of the IB agreement is that you have a backup broker. By the way, stock777, did you try bringing up an ECN data line on SPY (like SPY ISLAND) and see if you could enter orders directly to the ECN? Or did you just check SPY SMART and see that it was halted? Am just curious. Maybe IB...

    New disclaimer from IB

Must be easy to compete with IB. Why don't you create that competitor? Maybe I'll sign up. I guess you could be worried that IB is going down the toilet because a new agreement is in place. However, I am not concerned at all - IB has always been fair with their policies and actions and I...

Frosty's trading bot goes live part 2

I disagree. It all depends on where you live and how reliable your service is. Retail cable and retail DSL (for backup) is all I use and although I've had to switch on a moment's notice, I've never had crippling problems.

Is there software that allows me to always be the highest bid and lowest ask?

Was just giving you a hard time. I can't stand the auto-pennier programs. I'm pretty sure you can't do this with a native order type at IB. And now that I think about it, you probably won't find a package that will do it for you if it just uses IB quotes because your own bid/ask will mask...

Is there software that allows me to always be the highest bid and lowest ask?

What, so you can be a pennying dick? Actually, you can use relative orders at IB but they never "go back" in price so it limits how much of a dick you can be: http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/trading/orders/relative.php?ib_entity=llc I guess if you want to be a supreme dick you can...

Cnbc And Cramer Have Gone Too Far

The problem is that if you dabble in afterhours trading, Cramer can screw you over so quickly you won't know what happened. And therefore, you must watch him (or not trade). You can't ignore him because he moves stocks so much.

    Naked Short Selling

I am just curious how important is it for options market makers to be able to naked short a stock for hedging purposes. If that avenue was not allowed, would it cause option spreads to increase or hurt individuals in some other way?
